Similar in nature to Find Icons is Iconspedia. The interface is a bit more cluttered, but it offers the ability to browse by category and by rating as well as to simply search.
While some of the icons are the same as Find Icons, and the icon numbers are significantly lower (38,000 icons and 1200 icon packs), there are icons here not available elsewhere, so this is a valuable part of a well-rounded icon search strategy.
One thing this website has that Find Icons doesn’t is community involvement. Registered users can rate or comment on icons. If you want premium perks, such as faster ad-free browsing, or icons created exclusively for premium members, the cost is just under $1 per month.
